Welcome to the first ever FODMAP Life recipe roundup! In this roundup you will dive deliciously into low-FODMAP recipes from bloggers, dietitians, health coaches and a gastroenterology specialist dietitian, all across the globe.
The theme for my recipe roundup is dishes and desserts that are great to have during the
Fall or for Thanksgiving. This roundup was inspired by what I believe was the first ever low-FODMAP recipe roundup(s) by my friend Joana Oliveira of MyGutFeeling.eu. It was a lot of talent and many flavorful low-FODMAP recipes. You can check out her roundups

Stephanie Papillo is a Melbourne based food blogger, whose life revolves around cooking, eating and focusing on the bright side of living with food intolerances. After being diagnosed with fructose malabsorption, Stephanie turned to the low FODMAP diet to get her health back on track, and began sharing her stories and recipes on

Larah Brook suffers from IBS and since her diagnosis in 2013 she has been following a low FODMAP diet, which has helped her to manage her IBS symptoms. She is now trying to spread the word about the diet as much as possible, via her website and podcast, so that other sufferers can try to find relief and live a life free from pain.

Kate Scarlata, RDN, LDN, is a Boston-based dietitian with over 25 years of experience. She is a New York Times best selling author and world-renowned low FODMAP diet and GI nutrition expert. Kate is the recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Massachusetts Dietitian Award and recently recognized by Boston Magazine as Boston’s 2016 Best Dietitian. Ms. Scarlata is the author of numerous publications, including The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Eating Well with IBS and the coauthor of the New York Times Best Seller, 21 Day Tummy Diet. Toni Fiori is a registered and licensed dietitian, specializing in digestive health. Toni was fortunate to train with Kate Scarlata RD, LDN, learning the nuances of the low FODMAP diet and with Barbara Olendzki, RD, LDN at UMass Medical center implementing the IBD-AID, an anti-inflammatory diet for the management of inflammatory bowel disease. Toni shares her passion for nutrition and gut health in all areas of her work, including her work providing pediatric nutritional care for kids with food allergies, food intolerances and autoimmune conditions.

Joana Oliveira is behind My Gut Feeling, a food sensitivities blog where she shares healthy, natural and tasty recipes with a twist of passion and inspiration. She was diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) along with some big food intolerances, “all the result of a nasty gastroenteritis I got in April 2013. I was very ill for a year until my body finally started to get back on track, mainly because of a special diet called low FODMAP. It is a challenging one, I can tell you, but it works wonders on sensitive guts and was literally a lifesaver for me!”

Elena Nicoli is Italian and lives in Holland. She has been fighting against IBS since 2010, and two years ago she came across the low FODMAP diet, which literally changed her life. She is a PhD student and a food blogger at “Polvere di Vaniglia” (which means Vanilla Powder), the first Italian blog entirely dedicated to the low FODMAP diet. Her favorite foods are “Pumpkin, dark chocolate and…everything that tastes like vanilla, of course.”
