Low FODMAP Anti-inflammatory Tonic Recipe for IBS

Today I want to share a recipe with you, using a medical, non-prescription product called Holigos® IBS Restore.  This product comes in powder form and can be added to any hot or cold meal or beverage.  I have been using this product for over a month now to help with my symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).

What is Holigos® IBS Restore?

In a nutshell, Holigos® IBS Restore is a prebiotic and proven to help with symptoms of IBS.  I agreed to try the product out and I am happy to say it helped tremendously with my symptoms.

How to Use Holigos® IBS Restore in a Recipe

I want to show you how easy it is to use Holigos® IBS Restore in a nutritious and fun way, every day.  Here is a recipe:

Low FODMAP Anti-inflammatory Tonic (picture)

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 1 packet Holigos® IBS Restore
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • the juice and rind of 1 lemon
  • 3 cups filtered water
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Preparation

  1. Bring all ingredients to a simmer over medium heat for two minutes, then remove from heat. Set a small strainer over serving glasses and divide the liquid between two mugs.
